A Parent’s Song
When you were born
I held you in my arms
And I knew love
Like never before
When you learned to walk
You came with arms held high
I picked you up

Every time I think of you

In the stream I’d leave behind
When you were young
I watched you grow
As you shared your love

As our different worlds
