Who did she help Lord
The window and the mites
To us it seemed so little
To You seemed so right
Who did she help Lord
Did her tithe go far and wide
Did she help a little child
Or maybe help the blind
Such obedience, such sacrifice
Such faith of great heights
So simple, so pure, the love that was shown by
The widow and the mites
Who did she help Lord
An orphan in distress
Or maybe a young couple
Feeling down and depressed
Who did she help Lord
This woman who was kind
Did you take this simple act of faith
Multiply it many times
Such obedience, such sacrifice
Such faith of great heights
So simple, so pure, the love that was shown by
The window and the mites
I can only imagine
This woman who was poor
How she made such a difference
In the world beyond her door
It makes me cry when I realize
She gave of what she had
When I look at what I’ve given you
I hang my head so sad
